THE LEGEND WHY EARTHQUAKES HAPPEN !!!

Once upon a time maui and his brothers were traveling. through the world the brothers have gave up. and gave up on their life they were so bored they gave up  and wanted to starve to their death it was taking so long for them  to starve and die. they decided to jump off a cliff and so they did but they still did not die. When they got to the bottom a big earthquake happened. it was a 9.7.  There was loads of aftershocks the brothers finally died from that. and maui survived through it but there house got trashed. by the massive earth quakes.    

TRUE FACTS

There are plates under the ground. sometimes one part comes up onto the other side of it. The house can move and stay where it moved.  it was on the drive way ay one of athem it did end up in that position    Earthquakes are usually caused when rock underground suddenly moves  breaks when the rocks break it occurs An earthquakes happens

Explanation why our school is special

GOAL: I am learning to write all letters correctly and clearly

Why Paroa School is the best

We have lots of music even at the end of assembly there is bands sometimes they have to practice Guitar lessons.

And another reason is there are lots of things to do we have 2 playgrounds one for the little kids one for the big kids.  The big kids one has a log, a turny  slide and a bridge. We have a field and I usually play soccer and  rugby with my friends. We have a swimming pool that we use in Term 4 and 1. Basketball hoops, a sandpit, a long jump and we do running races we also have sports gear.

We have a library that we go to on Friday we have books for Juniors and books for Seniors. Also we have fun learning activities. and we are practicing for the school concert for kapa haka.  

We have Kapa haka which you practice and then go to the Festival and there is tuakana teina we do games and help them with there work and do art and more.

Also we are next to the Blue Penguins they live at the beach. To make them stay alive you wouldn't litter otherwise they could die.   

We have got Chromebooks that we do our work on  and we have to follow the rules of toki pounamu not play games online.    I like paroa school  now you should see why paroa school is special to me.

I found the 3-hour walk challenging.
I liked the glaciers when we collected red stone orange stone and green stone and I took green stone home.
the most memorable thing is the glaciers because when you put red stone on with water it turns yellow.
I didn't, like the biscuits.
